It's not too late to give up your fur coat.
Until April 22, Coats for Cubs is accepting real fur apparel, including trims and accessories.
Take your fur to any Buffalo Exchange, 2001 E. Speedway or 6170 E. Speedway, and your fur will be sent to The Humane Society of the United States.
This is Buffalo Exchange's third time participating in Coats for Cubs. The first two drives in Tucson netted 1,917 used furs.
Condition of the furs isn't important because they provide bedding and comfort to orphaned and injured wildlife. See a Coats for Cubs video of baby animals using the furs at myspace.com/ buffaloexchange.
If you want to claim a tax deduction, you must mail your fur directly to: Coats for Cubs, The Humane Society of the United States, 2100 L Street NW, Washington, D.C. 20037. For questions about Coats for Cubs, e-mail furfree@humanesociety.org.
If you miss the April 22 deadline, you still can mail the fur to the Humane Society.
