Marana visitor center

The Marana Chamber of Commerce visitor center is looking for volunteers with knowledge of area tourist attractions and who have great customer service skills. Hours are flexible and training will be provided if needed. Call Kathy Price at 682-4314 for more information.

Desert conservation

The Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation, Environmental Education Section is looking for volunteers to lead community efforts to conserve the Sonoran Desert. Museum art gallery

The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is looking for volunteer gallery attendants to staff the museum's art gallery during exhibitions. Volunteers welcome museum guests and answer questions about the artwork on display and the museum in general. Volunteers would also get to meet some of the artists and learn about different forms of nature art. Volunteers must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
