It was only a matter of time before the network that brought us "Project Runway" and "Top Chef" tackled the diva world of decorating. This time around, 12 interior-design hopefuls from around the country clash wills and wallpaper for spoils that include a high-profile showcase in New York and the cash to launch a business.

Todd Oldham hosts and presides over a Who's Who panel of judges, including L.A. designer and "Modern Glamour" author Kelly Wearstler, Elle Decor editor Margaret Russell and bon-vivant designer Jonathan Adler.

What were the judges looking for? Adler offers a wish list: "I wanted to find a little fire, a ton of passion, a dollop of charisma, a dash of panache, a lot of humor, a soupçon of je ne sais quoi, and buckets and buckets of creativity!"
