You've heard of one-stop shopping. Here's one-stop dentistry and orthodontics.

Southwest Dental Group opened a full-time orthodontics office Wednesday, right next door to its Family and Specialty Dentistry office at 2934 W. Ina Road.

Patients can now receive general dentistry, endodontic and orthodontic care or have oral surgery at the Northwest Side location.

"Our stamp is convenience," said Rima Urban, vice president of operations for Southwest Dental Group, which has eight locations in Arizona.

Dr. Marc Braslow founded the company in Tempe in 1973, and it opened its first and only Tucson location in May.

Orthodontist Dr. Howell Lewis will work from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. four days a week on alternating days, so in a month "there won't be a day of the week when he's not here," said Shannon Price, office manager.

Patients can get everything from old-style braces to newer treatments such as Invisalign clear braces and Zoom! teeth whitening at the orthodontics office, also at 2934 W. Ina Road.

Southwest Dental Group accepts patients with or without insurance, she said, and offers an in-house dental plan for people who lack dental insurance.
