A town-hall style meeting to discuss ways to curb underage drinking and illegal drug use will be held Monday at Sunnyside High School.

The event will feature an appearance by Elise Lopez, a member of Clean and Sober Theatre, who will speak about her experiences as a recovering drug user. The theater group is comprised mostly of teenage actors who do autobiographical skits about their former lives as drug users. The actors commit to staying clean while performing as members of the troupe.

A panel will discuss issues of drug testing in schools and laws about zero tolerance, among other topics. The meeting will conclude with a question-and-answer session.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the high school, 1725 E. Bilby Road. For more information, call 545-2321.
